The sunday is filled with me working on the body of this piece i call a car, and also wondering about how i am going to run the fuel. I have a day or 2 to figure it out, but this is what i would *LIKE* to do!
This is how we do it now days!!!
Thank you Brian at Wiseco and Larry at Endyn
FRIDAY UPDATE!
Big shot outs to Brian Wiseco for the help! As i told you all, the block had some inperfections and the sleeves had to be cut to a larger bore size, thus making us use larger pistons. WELP, i called Brian on this and after cross checking part numbers, we found out that they were not in stock there, and that the next run of these pistons would be on may 14, making me extremely off schedule. But even though he is super busy, Brian took the time to contact everyone that stocks these size pistons to see if they had these sizes left. Took about an hour out of his day, but he lucked out finding the next set at Endyn. Whats even cooler is that these were the last 81.5 pistons available in the US! So after some word from Brian, I gave Larry a call about these pistons. Larry was super helpful on the phone and after simply giving the address, i had the size i needed to finally finish the assembly of the block! The pistons are already shipping as i am typing btw!
Biggest shot outs in the world to Brian at Wiseco and Larry over at Endyn for all of the help to keep this project moving along smoothly.
This week coming is a big week, and this complete build will be at 90% or so by next friday. I am super stoked on this.

ATL meets my K24!
So I had to skip down the road today to drop the motor off for machine work. This is the final stretch for the motor before we have it in the car. This day shouldve came weeks ago, but setbacks are setbacks. Still, all of my partners and I are almost on the same page, and we have a timelimit to beat. So heres the race to beat that timing. ATL isnt far at all, and is quite a fun trip, so 4 of us jumped in the Minivan I just wrote about driving to the club in Honda Tuning Magazine and made the 2hr trek to the northside of Atlanta to drop the block off.
Balanced Performance

Balanced Performance keeps shit on the lock up!

Inside of the shop. Fully race prepped Viper, Hennessey Viper, Couple of 911s, a 944, JDM front Integra, and more!

I need some of this in my driveway! Track prepped 450hp+ Roush Prepped

Off Main Street Garage… My Machine Shop. Wonderfully located in the same parking lot as balanced. I have seen a good amount of work from this shop, and my trust is there! GREAT turn around time too!

Ready to get the line hone and assembly!

rolling the beast in!

After this, we get ready to grub. Since we are in ATL, you know where we had to go right???

It is said that this food is the most greasy food in the south. You better believe it! The grub got the beat down!

The Fellas…

Honda Tuning Feature: Brent’s K20 Integra

Here are some previews of a feature that is dropping soon of Brent’s 01 GSR. K20 power really started to grab me when i shot this car.

Afterwords, the ride from Richmond to DC was AMAZING. Following Brent was fun, and we had a nice group of cars rolling. I will try and dig up a picture or 2 if i can.

Now, i have a k-series myself :)
Heres a sneak of the homeboy Ryan Tuerck’s new drift setup. Gary and they guys at Gardella Racing look like the have something serious on their hands with this new build, and I am very excited to see this out on track. I hope to free up the time to make it to a mid season Formula D event to support my fellow Gadget Team Member! Good luck this year Ryan!

On the break open, not expecting this to be it, i see a ready to jump “tucked” harness for my ride!

Instant Success for Project Firefly!

This is how we are rolling this year… also, who knows the car in the background? Seen that b4? Prob not, because it still has yet to drop, but when it does people will know who had the baddest ITR in the US last year hands down. No “funny” crap either!

Once agan, all of the best to Ryan @ Rywire! This guy did me nice and kept his word. Its hard to find people to keep their word now days.
Check him out… www.rywire.com
